About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Protect the installed base of equipment and consumables and generate new business consumable/liquids sales
- Commit to an annual sales budget and develop an annual business plan to achieve territory objectives
- Forecast the monthly consumable/liquids pipeline
- Maintain compliance with applicable GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures
- Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas while managing within a specific expense budget
- Share leads, protect the installed base, develop accounts, and drive new business consumables/liquids sales
- Conduct personalized sales demonstrations for surgeons, operating room staff, and administration
- Maintain, analyze, and utilize territory records and information
- Educate and follow up with customers on product operation, utilization, and application
- Report sales activity and planned monthly activity to management
- Operate a cost center controlling sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable
- Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, opportunities, leads, and sales funnel updates
- Develop synergy opportunities among ZEISS companies, field service, and corporate partners
- Develop creative and profitable marketing approaches for regional demands
- Complete paperwork and requested information in a timely manner
- Use SFDC, Concur, Fleet, and CurioZ
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year college degree or equivalent
- Five plus (5+) years’ sales experience
- High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management
- Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills
- Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license
