About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate new business sales and profits (P&L) in a specific territory
- Commit to an annual sales budget and develop an annual business plan to achieve territory objectives
- Forecast monthly equipment pipeline
- Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas while managing a specific expense budget
- Conduct scheduled personalized sales demonstrations for surgeons, operating room staff, and administration
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure lead sharing
- Work with Posterior and Anterior specialists to ensure effective account management after equipment sales
- Maintain, analyze, and utilize territory records and other information to organize, plan, execute, and measure results
- Educate and follow up with surgeons, operating room staff, and administration on product operation, utilization, and application
- Provide timely, accurate, and constructive written and oral communications to management regarding expected sales and planned monthly activity
- Operate a specific cost center to control sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable
- Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, and updates for opportunities, leads, and sales funnel
- Develop and implement synergy opportunities among ZEISS companies, Carl Zeiss Meditec field service, and corporate partners
- Develop and implement creative and profitable marketing approaches for individual regional demands
- Complete all paperwork and requested information in a timely manner
- Maintain SFDC updates, Concur, Fleet, CurioZ, etc.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year college degree or equivalent
- Five plus (5+) years’ sales experience
- High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management
- Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills
- Expertise in product application and practice management implications
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license
- Maintain currency of and adhere to applicable GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures
- Abide by state and federal employment laws
