About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain ZEISS subscription platforms
- Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team comprising a Product Owner, developers, and testers
- Design and implement functional and technical architectures that transform business processes into digital solutions
- Develop and operate subscription solutions in an agile DevOps environment
- Continuously improve subscription solutions based on customer and user feedback
- Apply continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test automation
- Build orchestration solutions
- Support the team in resolving user issues
- Write high-quality code and validate quality through unit, integration, and acceptance testing
Requirements
What you’ll need- A successfully completed degree in computer science, business information systems, or a comparable field
- 2-6 years of experience with agile software development across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through release and maintenance
- Good knowledge of agile software development
- Experience with REST, API management, SQL, and Java
- Experience in the design, architecture, and scaling of software applications
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience working in an interdisciplinary and multicultural team
- Knowledge of Zuora is an advantage
- Knowledge of Quarkus is an advantage
- A high level of initiative, strong teamwork skills, and clear customer and result orientation
