About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and monitor training programs for production and operations team members
- Partner with facility leadership to assess training needs and identify development opportunities
- Collaborate with floor leads and supervisors in the ongoing evaluation and appraisal process for production employees
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve training content and delivery methods
- Manage training documentation, records, and reporting
- Coordinate and track employee participation and progress in the Department Mastery Program (DMP)
- Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding sessions
- Create training materials, presentations, brochures, multimedia resources, and visual aids
- Deliver training through classroom instruction, demonstrations, on-the-job training, workshops, conferences, and meetings
- Provide performance-related feedback and training recommendations to facility leadership
- Support continuing education initiatives and leadership development programs
- Build strong working relationships across departments and levels of the organization
- Provide logistical support for training events, program development, delivery, and evaluation
- Assist in the development and execution of strategic training plans
- Promote and support health and safety practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of training, learning and development, or workforce development experience
- Experience managing the full training lifecycle, including needs assessment, planning, development, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with employees and leaders across the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance is required
