About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate and review invoices for freight shipments
  • Check rates, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, and agreed pricing
  • Process billing adjustments, credits, and rebills
  • Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve them with Sales and Operations teams
  • Respond to client questions and inquiries related to invoices and billing
  • Maintain accurate shipment and customer information in internal systems
  • Maintain billing documentation and records for review or audit
  • Assist with billing deadlines and month-end activities
  • Identify recurring billing issues and suggest process improvements
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure invoices are processed correctly and on time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of experience in billing, finance operations, logistics, or a similar administrative role
  • Experience with billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable is preferred
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage is a strong advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working with systems, data, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to work Mon–Fri, 07.00–16.00 CST
