About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the region's launch and growth strategy and achieve ambitious revenue targets
- Own end-to-end delivery of a new city, including planning, hiring, people management, and launch
- Drive consistent month-over-month revenue growth in the region
- Build, coach, and continuously improve a high-performing Account Management team
- Delight schools and increase their usage of Zen Educate’s educators and software
- Collaborate with Product to build features needed by school districts and educators
- Coordinate with Educator Onboarding and Marketing to staff roles with the right number of educators
- Work with Compliance to meet state, city, and district requirements
- Strategize with Sales to launch in new districts and expand revenue
- Foster strategic partnerships with education leaders and key district accounts
- Own logistics and operations execution for dispatching teachers and teaching assistants to schools
- Develop tools, processes, and systems to improve performance
- Contribute hands-on in a fast-moving startup environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record of hitting/exceeding revenue targets
- At least 5 years in a Customer Success Manager or Account Manager role
- At least 1 year of leadership experience
- Mastery of managing a portfolio of customer accounts
- Passion for positively impacting education
- Proven ability to act with urgency and roll up your sleeves to do whatever is needed
- General interest in ‘mucking in’ and getting the job done
