About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and grow a team spanning software engineering, Platform, DevOps, and infrastructure
- Own the architecture and operational excellence of cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments
- Drive initiatives across BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) and other software-focused product capabilities
- Partner with Product, R&D, and executive leadership to align technical direction with business priorities
- Build and scale engineering processes, culture, and best practices as the team grows
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior ICs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership, with direct management of both software engineering and Platform/DevOps/Infrastructure functions
- 9+ years of overall experience in the field
- Proven experience scaling technical teams in a high-growth startup environment
- Deep hands-on background in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and CI/CD at scale
- Strong familiarity with modern AI concepts and practical experience applying AI to engineering workflows (e.g., agent orchestration, AI-driven developer tooling)
- Excellent communication skills and experience partnering with cross-functional leadership
- Experience in cybersecurity or a related regulated/enterprise domain is a strong plus
- Experience with identity, data, or cloud security platforms
- Background in building developer platforms or internal tooling
- Experience operating in regulated/enterprise environments (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC2)
