About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report to a Team Lead and align with Accounts, New Business, or Renewals
  • Onboard new clients and serve as the main point of contact for client requests
  • Review submissions, process endorsements, issue certificates of insurance, and execute policy modifications
  • Conduct mid-term reviews to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Analyze and execute remarkets with insurance partners
  • Engage inbound leads to advise and convert requests into clients; no cold calling required
  • Evaluate prospective clients’ risks and recommend and cross-sell coverage packages
  • Guide clients from initial quote to closed sale and explain coverage terms in plain language
  • Share pipeline updates and insights to optimize pricing models, conversion strategy, and program offerings
  • Lead renewal outreach to retain business
  • Perform gap analyses and sell supplementary coverage lines
  • Liaise with insurance partners to negotiate pricing structures and secure renewal coverage packages
  • Review policy data for accuracy across renewal documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Valid broker license with 1+ years of insurance experience
  • Active RIBO license is highly desirable
  • Skilled at translating complex insurance concepts into simple language
  • Skilled at working with colleagues, underwriters, and partners
  • Attention to detail in policy accuracy and a target-driven mindset
  • Strong prioritization skills to manage a portfolio of clients and tasks simultaneously
  • Proven ability to leverage digital tools and a BMS to manage client portfolios efficiently
