About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess and monitor credit risk across Zespri's global customer portfolio
  • Review customer forecasts, ordering patterns and financial position to establish appropriate credit limits
  • Monitor customer credit exposure and ensure compliance with credit policies
  • Analyse credit reports and other information to evaluate customer financial health
  • Work closely with Sales and Finance teams to balance commercial opportunities with risk management
  • Build relationships with external credit agencies and insurers to support decision-making
  • Prepare reports and insights for stakeholders and senior management
  • Support wider Accounts Receivable activities and continuous improvement initiatives as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing accounts receivable, customer ledgers, overdue balances or credit activities
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to assess customer risk and interpret financial statements
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation with multiple currencies and international stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
  • Ability to influence and navigate competing priorities while building positive stakeholder relationships
  • Strong reporting and data analysis capabilities
  • Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to support the wider team when needed
  • Collaborative, approachable style with high levels of empathy and professionalism
