About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with business leaders to provide financial advice, insights and recommendations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across key cost centres.
- Support shipping and supply chain teams with cost analysis, forecasting and reporting.
- Analyse financial performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Develop business cases, financial models and investment analyses.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements and reporting improvements.
- Build relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, Shipping, People and senior leadership teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in finance, commercial analysis, or business partnering within a large and complex organisation.
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting capability.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools.
- Ability to translate financial information into clear commercial insights.
- Experience partnering with business leaders and influencing decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and embracing new technologies, including AI.
