About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain Quality Department databases, including Quality Assurance, Quality and Accuracy Control, Ship Acceptance, and Weld Engineering databases
  • Support database development and data migration as required
  • Organize and administer Quality databases
  • Support internal process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare, maintain, and update data, documents, files, and project information for recording and distribution
  • Support the Quality Data Analyst in producing metric reporting and managing existing dashboards
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Quality Management Reports under Department Manager supervision
  • Document data management processes
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College diploma supplemented with solid IT knowledge
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in data management roles
  • Experience supporting the development of new IT databases and migrating data from previous systems
  • Experience managing comprehensive data records
  • Experience working in Quality Control or Quality Assurance is preferred
  • Experience with project management is an asset
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Good knowledge of quality management practices is highly desirable
  • Ability to plan and organize work independently
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail
  • Ability to spot check and review data sets for integrity and accuracy
