About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor market share, utilization, and customer performance.
  • Perform analysis and trend reporting.
  • Assist in managing trade documents, including DTLI tracker, revenue reports, pipeline, and actual performance monitoring versus budget and sales targets.
  • Maintain market share data, competition analysis, and customer performance weekly; advise the trade team of outliers.
  • Maintain trade databases and reporting tools.
  • Maintain the Tariff Database pricing system for tariff FMC and Non-FMC; update monthly/quarterly.
  • Monitor forecasts versus bookings versus actuals.
  • Perform system quality checks to ensure countries/districts follow company best practices for auto-freight and timely bookings.
  • Review HIVE rules and set up.
  • Update Booking Tool parameters.
  • Manage late gate and space approval.
  • Analyze country/branch performance and manage improvement initiatives.
  • Work with Sales to implement and measure the business plan and trade policy.
  • Monitor performance and implementation of actions with countries.
  • Review, research, and respond to emails and formal correspondence from business units, account owners, and customers.
  • Liaise with other areas and branches.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • 1-2 years’ experience in trade positions or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet, Data Manipulation, Formulas, Lookups, Pivot Tables, Etc.
  • Shipping industry experience is an advantage.
