About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and manage financial models supporting the annual plan, long-range forecast, and multi-product growth strategy
Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders to set topline targets, evaluate roadmap investments, and align on strategic priorities
Model the financial impact of AI products and decisions, including pricing scenarios, unit economics, gross margin, and investment cases
Create and maintain KPI frameworks tracking product performance and sales efficiency
Prepare board materials, investor updates, and leadership presentations
Drive company-wide forecasting and reporting across revenue, expenses, headcount, cash flow, and retention metrics
Shape financial strategy for Product and partner on Zip's AI strategy, including pricing, packaging, AI revenue forecasting, and inference costs
Connect product strategy with financial outcomes and support long-range planning and executive and board-level decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of private equity, investment banking, or similar experience
Experience in strategic finance at a high-growth technology company is a plus
Familiarity with technology, SaaS, and usage-based business models
Excellent financial modeling and quantitative skills
Extreme attention to detail with a high regard for precision
Strong written and verbal communication
Ownership mindset with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders
Willingness and ability to come into the downtown SF office 3 days per week
Legally authorized to work in the US
