About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the technical architecture for a major Provider Engagement Platform domain, such as practice intelligence APIs, recommendation serving, orchestration, or AI-assisted management
  • Design data pipelines that compute engagement signals, aggregate practice profiles, and feed downstream systems
  • Integrate Data Science ML models into production through model serving, feature pipelines, monitoring, and feedback loops
  • Define APIs and contracts between platform services and product surfaces
  • Lead complex cross-team projects and drive alignment on technical direction
  • Make build-vs-buy decisions for infrastructure components
  • Own platform roadmapping, prototyping, and leading 0-1 projects spanning data infrastructure, ML integration, and product surfaces
  • Design and build the unified practice intelligence layer and real-time profiles for personalization and recommendations
  • Architect event pipelines that capture engagement signals, compute health scores, and feed downstream ML models
  • Analyze and decompose complex product challenges to drive sound design decisions
  • Work hands-on with the team and ship production code
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists
  • Mentor engineers and provide thoughtful feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership
  • Experience building data-intensive systems, including event pipelines, aggregation services, or real-time data serving
  • Experience integrating ML into products and taking models from notebook to production with Data Science
  • Strong API and data modeling skills, including designing schemas and interfaces that evolve gracefully
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and break product vision into concrete technical milestones
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing clear design documents and explaining tradeoffs to product partners
  • Track record of shipping high-quality systems
  • Experience with C#, React, and AWS technologies
