About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a territory of diagnostic customers across Fraser Valley, Okanagan/Interior and Northern British Columbia.
  • Deliver best-in-class in-clinic lab installations and promote utilization in alignment with clinical guidelines.
  • Enhance the post-sale customer experience.
  • Oversee installation, set-up, and connectivity of diagnostic devices and online platforms.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, training, and education on diagnostic solutions.
  • Facilitate customer onboarding through pre-onboarding, installation, training, and follow-up.
  • Conduct regular on-site and remote customer check-ins.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products, identify leads, and collaborate with team members.
  • Maintain expertise in products, services, pricing, competition, and market trends.
  • Coordinate resources, schedule calls, book travel, and manage the territory budget.
  • Maintain accurate customer interaction records and report expenses promptly.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Post-secondary qualification in biological sciences, business, or veterinary technology.
  • Sales experience required.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Skilled in consultative (solution) selling techniques.
  • Comprehensive understanding of veterinary hospital operations, including laboratory and clinical procedures, practice administration, staff training, and workflow.
  • Proficient in interpreting scientific and medical information.
  • Strong computer and technical skills.
  • Ideally located in the Surrey/Langley/Abbotsford/Chilliwack area.
