About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the Hatchery Inovo Process for Zoetis through customer service programs
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment and assigned Biodevices in poultry hatcheries
- Provide electrical/mechanical support and perform emergency repairs at customer locations
- Understand and follow electrical schematics
- Participate in territory after-hours support and repairs
- Communicate with assigned hatcheries
- Complete reporting forms and procedures, including scheduling visits, customer site contacts, parts usage priorities, site cart management, certification program, vehicle, and equipment maintenance
- Manage the Hatchery Inovo Process for an assigned territory of 3–5 hatcheries
- Manage the Zoetis Operator Training Program for more than 25 customer employees
- Facilitate vaccine and sanitation preparation for Zoetis Devices
- Support and conduct the Zoetis Process Evaluation Program
- Collect and report important information within the Zoetis FieldAware System
- Follow safety and precautionary procedures
- Maintain regular communication with the supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree in Electro/Mechanical Systems or related curriculum and/or a bachelor’s degree in poultry science or related field from an accredited institution
- Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement
- Normally requires 1–5 years of related experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Proficient organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, and initiative
- Effective communication skills to interact directly with multiple levels of customer management
- Basic computer skills using Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work in potentially hazardous hatchery environments
- Ability to work in above-average heat and humidity
- Available for on-call work beyond 40 hours per week, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift more than 25 pounds
- Periodic overnight travel required
- Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis
