About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze sales, market share, customer, and marketing data from CEESA, Animalytix, Power BI, and other sources
  • Identify industry trends, assess marketing effectiveness, and evaluate market fluctuations
  • Develop strategies and guide analyses supporting pricing, discounts, seasonal promotions, contracting, and net revenue optimization
  • Partner with Livestock Marketing, Sales, Finance, Business Analytics, Customer Operations, Market Research, NRM, and Customer Experience teams
  • Frame ad hoc analyses, test business hypotheses, and deliver data-driven recommendations
  • Build knowledge of key brands and translate functional and market insights into annual strategic priorities
  • Establish metrics, methodologies, dashboards, and leadership reporting for market programs, net revenue, sales optimization, and field-force effectiveness
  • Identify opportunities for artificial intelligence and help develop and train AI models
  • Manage market research projects and deliver actionable insights on time
  • Prepare, validate, and consolidate data for external regulatory reporting submissions
  • Support livestock marketing managers in strategic decisions and evaluation of market fluctuations
  • Develop dashboards and self-serve capabilities for marketing and field-force enablement
  • Provide strategic direction to the NRM Analyst and influence prioritization of initiatives
  • Develop and deliver structured updates to BU marketing and sales leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's in finance, business, economics, math, engineering, computer science or equivalent is required
  • Experience in lieu of education requirement may be considered
  • 7-10 years working in commercial functions (sales, marketing, brand management) or in commercial function support role
  • Strategic problem-solving and ability to drive creative solutions in a complex environment
  • Ability to build close working relationships and drive data-driven recommendations and decisions with internal teams
  • Analytical background; able to understand and manage complex analytics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and pivot between multiple projects, pilots and tests
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to flex based on changing business priorities
  • Must be open to occasional travel (up to 20%)
