About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Livestock marketing and communication initiatives in collaboration with the Livestock marketing team
- Develop promotional materials and identify digital media opportunities
- Build creative assets such as photos or videos
- Execute operational efficiencies and support conventions or meetings
- Collaborate with Livestock Marketing Communications to identify and execute communication-plan initiatives
- Lead tactics from initiation through execution, including timelines and milestone dates
- Review drafts, provide constructive feedback, and own commercial reviews
- Formulate internal communication plans for marketing tools
- Identify opportunities to improve Zoetis Livestock social media profiles and online presence
- Establish benchmarks and KPIs and enhance reporting mechanisms
- Analyze other Zoetis business units’ digital platforms for synergies and alignment opportunities
- Assist with convention and event planning, logistics, scheduling, event assets, sponsorships, media relations, and interviews
- Define market research project scopes and discussion materials
- Support project execution and report findings and actionable insights
- Present communication plans and tactical rollout recommendations to the Livestock Marketing team
- Outline next steps and actions for key initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate junior or above; post-graduate students in Masters, MBA, or PhD programs also welcome
- Majoring in Animal Science, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field
- Experience in Livestock welcomed, but not a requirement
- Computer experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Acrobat Pro
- Attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize multiple projects and deliver high performance and quality on deadline
- Must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, accountability, willingness to accept challenges, and ability to lead change
- Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
- All applicants must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis
