About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute marketing initiatives for the entire Cattle vaccine portfolio, including BOVISHIELD GOLD and INFORCE
- Achieve the quarterly and yearly P&L operating plan for US Cattle Bios
- Develop and lead the Lifecycle Strategy
- Develop, implement, and measure marketing initiatives supporting immediate and long-term portfolio and brand growth
- Develop sales and operating budgets and operate within approved financial parameters
- Participate in planning, market development, product forecasting, and planning for new assets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Technical Services, Sales, Marketing Communications, Market Research, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Pricing, Learning & Development, and Manufacturing
- Work with external vendors to drive market growth
- Develop and execute marketing activation plans supporting demand creation
- Manage communications with customers, business managers, account teams, the Customer Interaction Team, and senior management
- Lead development and execution of NSMs and POAs
- Monitor customer insights, competitive activities, and market insights to inform marketing strategies
- Maintain relationships with Market Research, advertising agencies, and external vendors
- Model Zoetis’ Values and Leader Behaviors as a leader within Cattle and Equine Marketing
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-10+ years of marketing leadership or related experience with demonstrable success
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business or relevant major
- Animal health and livestock marketing experience preferred
- MBA preferred
- Excellent understanding of science-based marketing and the marketing process
- Proven ability to develop and deliver best-in-class integrated marketing plans and programs
- Demonstrated experience leading or influencing a team from a key role in a strategic business initiative
- Ability to favorably influence people without direct authority
- Strong team and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and computer software skills
- Strong financial analysis skills and proven ability to manage budgets and expenses
- Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle and effectively prioritize multiple projects
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and ability to learn Zoetis systems
- Ability to travel to internal and external meetings and customer interactions (>25%)
- Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis
