About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support sales activities and territory management tasks with Territory Manager(s)
  • Provide customer and administrative support and territory coverage
  • Persuade physicians and engage, educate, and empower support staff through one-on-one discussions, group in-servicing, exhibits, and conferences
  • Enable prescribing entities to become self-sufficient through enrollment and utilization of ZOLL Patient Management, with added focus on CDx products
  • Sell and grow assigned accounts
  • Support sales and ongoing account management of LifeVest and CDx products
  • Achieve assigned sales objectives
  • Learn, know, and implement Plans of Action launched to the Field Sales Organization
  • Communicate Sudden Cardiac Arrest and LifeVest data and advocate for LifeVest in clinical settings
  • Identify patients and advocate on their behalf
  • Enroll and train customers on the ZOLL Patient Management System
  • Train hospital and office staff to submit complete orders and reduce medical order exceptions
  • Conduct in-service meetings on medical order processes and requirements
  • Assist with document collection for new medical orders and reorders
  • Provide territory support during Territory Manager absences or vacancies
  • Become a company expert and resource on ZOLL and competitive products
  • Master Integrity/GAP Model Selling skills
  • Represent ZOLL professionally and ethically
  • Communicate openly and share information
  • Analyze and report territory trends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required
  • One of: minimum of one year sales experience in a strong BTB environment, pharmaceutical or medical device field
  • One of: minimum of two years of relevant field clinical support experience for a pharmaceutical or medical device company
  • One of: minimum of two years of strong clinical experience in a multispecialty hospital environment in cardiology
  • One of: minimum of three years experience as a Junior Military Officer leading a team, project or account management
  • Valid state driver's license required
  • Ability to influence clinical decision-making through sales efforts, including presentation and discussion of clinical data
  • Must be willing, at time of hire and throughout tenure, to relocate at discretion of Area Director within the Area's boundaries
  • Ability to drive an automobile
  • May be required to travel by train or airplane as needed
  • Ability to work atypical hours, including evenings and weekends, based on customer and/or business needs
