About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sell ZOLL's non-invasive wearable cardiac defibrillator system and other cardiac diagnostic products to healthcare professionals
- Conduct initial sales calls and support consistent product utilization through medical education programs, tradeshows, symposiums, and conferences
- Educate healthcare professionals and staff about WCD-indicated patients, ordering requirements, billing requirements, and the ZOLL Patient Management System
- Provide relevant clinical, reporting, and technical information supporting product utilization
- Achieve assigned sales objectives
- Maintain account databases, prepare and submit reports, and maintain yearly and quarterly business plans
- Manage field expenses and submit timely reports
- Attend medical education programs, exhibits, and conventions
- Serve as a company expert on ZOLL products and relevant industry trends
- Maintain credentialing and access to assigned accounts
- Analyze and report territory trends
- Ensure information and documentation are provided to intake and reimbursement for timely billing claims
- Work daily in hospitals, doctors' offices, and other medical establishments within the assigned territory
- Occasionally work atypical hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university required
- 3-5 years sales experience in medical equipment sales or specialized/hospital based pharmaceutical sales, or 5 years of successful sales experience with at least one year in healthcare sales required
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Valid state driver's license required
- Ability to be credentialed/have access privileges in all assigned customer accounts
- Documented history of sales success
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must live within the assigned territory
- Must be able to drive an automobile
- May be required to travel by train or airplane as needed
