About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and scale engineering teams across the Americas, overseeing Platform Services and AI, Quote-to-Cash, and ZoneProcure teams.
Collaborate with engineering and product counterparts in EMEA and APAC on technical vision, priorities, and delivery.
Attract, lead, mentor, and inspire software engineers across the Americas and EMEA.
Lead transformation of software delivery through agentic SDLC, Spec-Driven Development, and the AI Software Factory model.
Oversee design, development, and deployment of Platform and AI services, Quote-to-Cash, and ZoneProcure products.
Provide architectural oversight and hands-on technical leadership across Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, agentic workflows, LLM/agent frameworks, AI/ML pipelines, and AWS services.
Conduct code and architecture reviews and provide technical mentorship.
Ensure timely, high-quality software delivery through planning and resource management.
Collaborate with Product, Professional Services, Customer Success, and other cross-functional partners.
Serve as a senior technical contact for strategic customer relationships in the region.
Champion AI-powered development tools, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing.
Drive technical-debt remediation and foundational architecture improvements.
Refine engineering processes and use metrics to improve velocity, quality, collaboration, and prioritization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles, including leading remote-first teams across multiple time zones.
Proven experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, building AI/ML pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM/agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, DSPy), and AWS services including Bedrock, ECS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
Familiarity with modern software development practices including agentic SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, DevEx.
Strong understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), data modeling, and systems integration.
Experience leading teams in the Americas and collaborating effectively across global regions including EMEA and APAC.
Experience working cross-functionally with Product teams across geographies.
Domain experience in fintech, billing, reporting, or ERP systems. Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and able to effectively and succinctly communicate technical concepts and tradeoffs with non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and resources in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
