About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Represent the security-compliance practice with customers through calls, webinars, and conferences
Communicate how compliance accelerates deals
Map compliance frameworks to Zscaler capabilities control by control
Build reusable playbooks and assets from deal-based learnings
Educate sales engineers and account executives on routine compliance conversations
Act as a security-compliance first responder
Complete vendor security questionnaires and customer assessments accurately and quickly
Assemble evidence and documentation supporting questionnaire and assessment responses
Help customers navigate Zero Trust, GDPR, NIST, PCI, and HIPAA compliance frameworks
Translate security, data protection, and compliance concepts into customer and sales conversations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions
Zscaler product understanding or ability to build it quickly
Working knowledge of major compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR, or regional equivalents
Comprehensive understanding of security, data security, and compliance
Understanding of security architecture and data protection in motion and at rest
Ability to translate technology to compliance, compliance to business, and business to sales
Experience working with or in sales or customer-facing teams
Compliance or security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, ISO 27001 LA, CCP, CCA, or similar are preferred
Experience in federal, SLED, healthcare, or other regulated industries is preferred
Eligibility for a US security clearance is a plus
Experience presenting at industry events or building enablement content is preferred
