About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Manage complex, multi-year supplier relationships and partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, and product management stakeholders
  • Lead sourcing initiatives including RFPs/RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiation
  • Drive spend analysis, develop cost savings pipelines, and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply conditions to inform sourcing strategies and mitigate risk
  • Provide leadership and oversight to sourcing/project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Identify and implement process improvements across sourcing and supply chain activities
  • Track and report KPIs, category performance, and sourcing progress to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in sourcing, category management, or supply chain within a manufacturing or industrial environment
