About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development, implementation, and management of safety programs, including LOTO, Hazard Communication, Emergency Response, and Fall Protection
  • Participate in incident investigations by gathering information, preparing documentation, and assisting with corrective actions
  • Assist in creating and delivering safety communications and training materials
  • Help maintain the Behavioral-Based Safety program by collecting, organizing, and reporting observation data
  • Support compliance activities related to regulatory permits, certificates, and required EHS documentation
  • Assist with internal EHS audits to verify safe work practices and identify improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to EHS-related training initiatives, including training tools, presentations, and awareness materials
  • Work closely with the EHS team and site leadership to strengthen compliance, drive engagement, and support a proactive safety culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in occupational safety, environmental science, or a closely related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and capability to analyze data and make sound conclusions
  • Ability to participate in team-oriented projects to support effective corrective actions
  • Willingness to learn and engage in all aspects of EHS programs
