About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and deployment of the wholesale strategy, processes and programs.
  • Align wholesale strategy with regional execution and support long-term growth objectives across all territories.

  • Define 3–5 year sales strategies for revenue and share growth of wholesale accounts.
  • Analyze performance and provide actionable insights to maximize sell-through efficiency and channel performance.
  • Lead forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting for national channel performance.
  • Translate market data and account metrics into strategic actions and optimization plans.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing team, including account managers.
  • Uphold a culture of excellence, collaboration, and adaptability.
  • Monitor market trends, industry shifts, and competitor activity.
  • Use customer insights to refine offerings and strategic positioning.
  • Collaborate with marketing on demand generation and performance marketing.
  • Collaborate with sales and business units to establish SIOP and execute demand planning, purchasing, stocking, and OTD.
  • Work with the digital team to integrate operational insights into customer-facing digital tools and platforms.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B Wholesale / Distribution management.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading a team of National Sales associates in Plumbing industry.
  • Proven track record of driving national account share gains and margin improvements.
  • Hands-on experience implementing customer experience transformation in large, complex manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • True passion for delivering a world class experience for our customers.
  • High degree of interpersonal and organizational savvy to the role, with the ability to navigate large accounts effectively while gaining buy in from multiple stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proactive problem solver, detail-oriented and strong degree of accountability.
  • Experience working in a high growth and agile environment.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire their team.
