About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain ZURU's product websites, including static/marketing sites, and web applications with React
  • Work on the Node.js backend by extending, maintaining, and keeping it healthy
  • Take ownership of existing web codebases, improve their quality, and keep them maintainable over time
  • Partner with product designers to translate designs into production and advise on technical feasibility
  • Rapidly prototype new ideas and bring successful ones to production
  • Review and quality-gate web code, including code produced with AI coding agents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong, hands-on experience with React and its ecosystem, including TypeScript, modern build tooling, state management, and routing
  • Experience building static websites and performant web apps, including Next.js or similar, SEO, accessibility, and performance
  • Working experience with Node.js backends and REST/API integration
  • Ability to read, understand, and maintain codebases you did not write
  • Strong product sense and a collaborative attitude towards design
  • Daily, fluent use of AI coding tools and the judgement to review their output critically
