About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and operate systems in customer-facing production environments
Translate ambiguous business and customer problems into prototypes and technical specifications
Track AI capabilities and apply them where they create clear leverage
Own the full application lifecycle: product discovery, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
Own system design, tradeoffs, long-term scaling, and maintainability
Build legible codebases for agents and developers and drive the organization forward on tooling
Partner with product managers to enhance product vision, including AI-native solutions
Work directly with customers and product teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years in software engineering or applied AI
Experience working with AI development tools in full-stack applications
Experience designing AI-based solutions to real workflows
Working knowledge of cloud and frontier AI platforms
Strong applied AI and software engineering fundamentals
Ability to span technology, product, and design thinking with high autonomy
Experience with Python, C#, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, Terraform, and AWS is listed as a productive technology stack
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is nice to have, not required
Experience operating AI systems in production, with attention to evaluation, cost, and performance tradeoffs is nice to have
Experience in high-ambiguity environments with proximity to customers is nice to have
Experience in large-scale Python, C#, and TypeScript codebases is nice to have
Experience integrating AI solutions into established products is nice to have
Experience with healthcare, regulated, or sensitive data is nice to have
