Key responsibilities & impact- Provide hands-on technical leadership for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of AI-enabled enterprise applications
- Build LLM-powered conversational interfaces, chatbots, and agentic AI solutions
- Design and develop full-stack web applications using Angular, TypeScript, Java, and RESTful APIs
- Develop and maintain services integrating LLM platforms, enterprise data sources, and internal systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML specialists, solution architects, and development teams
- Drive complex application development from concept through implementation and production support
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, coaching, and code reviews
- Establish software engineering best practices, reusable components, automated testing, source control, and CI/CD
- Collaborate on technical roadmaps, application enhancements, technical debt, and infrastructure requirements
- Troubleshoot performance, integration, reliability, and cybersecurity issues
- Present technical approaches, architectural decisions, and development progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise across application development teams to resolve significant technical challenges
- Apply the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) within the Digital Business Solutions organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience
- Experience designing and developing full-stack enterprise web applications
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience developing Java-based backend applications and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot or similar frameworks
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, API integration, and application architecture
- Technical leadership experience, including guiding application design, mentoring developers, and contributing to software development in an Agile/Scrum environment
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience with AI-enabled applications, conversational interfaces, chatbots, or LLM-integrated applications
- Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, prompt management, conversation context, and response handling
- Understanding of RAG, semantic search, and enterprise data integration
- Experience integrating Angular applications with Java/Spring Boot backend services
- Experience with intuitive, responsive, and accessible UI design
- Experience with Python, .NET, or other backend technologies
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and secure API integration
- Database design and query experience with Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, SQL Server, or similar relational databases
- Experience with containerization, cloud-native architectures, or distributed services
- Experience identifying and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Collaboration, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience across software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, and enterprise architecture
- Matillion or other ETL tools experience
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, YAML, and other application integration formats
- Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories
