Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the MDM request queue for Enterprise Structure and Finance-related master data
Triage requests and determine appropriate actions according to business rules
Confirm hierarchy and mapping table maintenance requirements with business SMEs
Maintain master data in business systems according to rules and standards
Train and onboard business master data requesters and owners
Support MDM Leads in implementing master data quality standards and processes
Document and improve master data processes across the activity lifecycle
Performance-manage the MDM team at BPO partner Genpact
Leverage KPIs and support regular performance reporting
Develop and implement master data validation checks and routines
Investigate and troubleshoot master data quality issues and anomalies
Collaborate with external partners for data enrichment
Provide operational insights for master data improvement initiatives
Coordinate and execute master data cleansing routines
Collaborate with data owners, requesters, and subject matter experts to resolve master data issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
Minimum of 3+ years of progressive master data management experience
Preferably 2+ years’ experience in a global finance environment
Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP or other ERP systems preferred
Ability to develop and influence effective working relationships with senior business stakeholders and manage relationships with the BPO provider
Ability to provide challenge and hold teams accountable to drive performance
Ability to adapt swiftly and undertake challenging tasks
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines
Strong leadership and people management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and strong analytical skills
Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements when handling financial information
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI
Continuous learning mindset regarding global finance regulations and best practices
Interest in and active contribution to automation and continuous improvement
