Electrical Engineer

• Architect and integrate system-level electrical designs, including computer platforms, camera modules, sensors, displays, and external peripherals
• Own system power architecture, including power distribution, sequencing, power budgeting, and platform thermal considerations
• Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, and system validation across electrical, firmware, and software layers
• Work closely with computer vision teams to enable robust camera performance and diagnose imaging issues from a hardware perspective
• Support camera subsystem development, including sensor selection, camera board integration, and calibration considerations
• Design and integrate systems using high-speed and low-speed interfaces such as USB, PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO
• Rapidly prototype and evaluate new system architectures and electro-mechanical concepts
• Drive product development from prototype through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production
• Collaborate with global suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver scalable production hardware
• Communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
• Create and drive project timelines and milestones

Engineering Manager

• Own the direction, delivery, and quality of a core product area from idea through launch, working directly with the founders
• Hire and grow a small team of strong engineers
• Design, write, and review code across the stack, spending roughly one-third to one-half of the time hands-on
• Turn ambiguous product goals into executable technical plans
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and design teams on products deployed to an IoT fleet of physical kiosks
• Decide what to rebuild for scale and what to leave unchanged
• Carry production ownership and participate in on-call responsibilities
• Mentor engineers on the team and across the wider engineering group
• Own integrations enabling kiosks to operate as point-of-sale devices, including kiosk software, backend services, and customer-facing features
• Set technical direction and remain accountable for work quality and team member growth
