About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure contractual availability of wind farms in the area
- Analyze defects on wind turbine generators in communication with LOM and other technicians
- Autonomously repair turbines
- Carry out complex repairs with support from LOM/back office
- Perform planned maintenance and inspection activities
- Complete reports and checklists to keep LOM customers informed of site activities
- Document and complete snag lists from maintenance, preventive maintenance, and customers
- Provide on-the-job training to new technicians
- Cooperate with customers or site management
- Prioritize emergency work to minimize downtime and costs
- Coordinate local teams and vehicles
- Monitor local stock condition and levels
- Control subcontractors’ tool condition in cooperation with other service technicians
- Comment on and adjust availability reports
- Conduct daily team briefings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Located in Kelme or nearby
- Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship
- Driving License
- Computer literate
- Able to use MS Office, SAP MI, in-house database, and workload management systems
- Experience in coordinating a team
- Health and Safety awareness
- Systematic problem-solving behavior
- Strong communication skills
- Planning and organizing skills
- Customer-oriented
- Willingness to travel
- Result-oriented
- Ability to work under stressful conditions
