About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform scheduled and unscheduled turbine maintenance according to Nordex manuals and regulations
- Complete simple turbine repairs, troubleshooting, and faultfinding autonomously
- Carry out complex repair processes with local technical support and the Lead Technician
- Perform planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors
- Repair or exchange main components, such as gearboxes, with the relevant specialists
- Prepare for all maintenance activities
- Complete work to a high standard and on time
- Follow all HSE regulations and maintain a strong HSE focus
- Check PPE daily and weekly
- Conduct vehicle checks to ensure vehicles are in good condition and roadworthy
- Maintain good housekeeping at the site and follow site safety rules
- Report safety observations, data inputs, timekeeping, maintenance, repairs, and Movilizer information accurately and on time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates based in the Kelme area or nearby locations
- Experience of electrical or mechanical systems
- Knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams
- Basic HSE knowledge and ability to develop further in this area
- Computer literacy and ability to use MS Office, SAP, in-house database, and workload management systems
- Experience using technical data for fault finding and problem analysis
- Technical education/training or comparable training and knowledge
- Certified to work as an electrician at least up to 1000V; certification up to 35 kV is a benefit
- Experience using data processing adequately
- Good English language skills, reading, writing, and speaking fluently
