PerfectServe

Data Engineer

• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from production source systems
• Write transformation models that turn raw data into datasets people can trust
• Apply dimensional and medallion modelling patterns as the warehouse takes shape
• Deploy pipelines to production, and test them properly — idempotency, data quality checks
• Contribute to data model and schema design, and to design reviews
• Document what you build, including runbooks for the pipelines you own
• Work closely with a staff data engineer and a platform engineer while building PerfectServe's data platform

• Own the implementation design across the platform — ingestion, modeling, and the surfaces people consume
• Shape the detailed architecture from the high-level direction, working with the architecture team
• Own integration design across a varied set of production source systems
• Build ingestion pipelines from those systems
• Model raw data into business-ready datasets, with one agreed definition per metric
• Set the engineering standards the team works to, including data quality and testing
• Partner with platform and operations teams on safe, low-impact extraction from production databases
• Work directly with data users so what gets built answers real questions
• Mentor data engineers and help shape their work

Staff Data Engineer

Platform Engineer

• Own the AWS infrastructure for the data platform, defined as code
• Build and maintain the deployment path, using GitOps and continuous delivery
• Design least-privilege access to production data sources, including credentials, network routes, and permissions
• Stand up observability for the platform
• Administer the Kubernetes workloads the platform runs on
• Partner with the security team regarding protected health information and multiple tenants
• Automate operational work rather than performing it by hand

Senior Platform Engineer

Analyst

• Design, implement, and support integrations between hospital clients’ clinical systems and the PerfectServe platform
• Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for internal and external users regarding integration solutions and clinical workflow
• Partner with customer technical and clinical resources in designing and supporting integration solutions
• Work closely with R&D in the design, development, and testing of the backend integration domain
• Code HL7 interfaces within the interface engine and create flat-file integrations using SSIS packages in Microsoft SQL
• Coordinate technical resources to implement third-party API integrations
• Perform data validation on new data feeds and regression validation with each QA and Production release
• Support and troubleshoot production integrations and establish integration support structure between customer IT and PerfectServe
• Create and maintain documentation; coordinate VPN and sFTP setup; plan and perform interface engine upgrades and failover; participate in after-hours call rotation

Clinical Integration Analyst

• Shift between manual validation and automation work depending on delivery timelines, feature complexity, and team needs.
• Build technical testing knowledge, including exposure to automation frameworks, scripting, CI/CD, and quality engineering best practices.
• Communicate effectively in a remote environment, including maintaining an active on-camera presence during meetings when expected.

Junior QA Engineer

Software Engineer

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android under the guidance of senior mobile engineers.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific quirks between iOS and Android.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
• Write and maintain basic unit and integration tests to help ensure application stability.
