About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and maintain knowledge materials for the team’s MSP customer-delivery scope
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding technical challenges and applying GCP technologies, patterns, and practices
  • Collaborate with delivery teams, Google, and customer engineering teams
  • Use repeatable and consistent technology stacks across customer projects
  • Document and implement managed-service processes aligned with project technology stacks and customer requirements
  • Follow and improve best practices, processes, and procedures
  • Upskill and mentor colleagues to support smooth delivery across teams
  • Represent Qodea in relationships with Google or customers and attend potential customer visits as needed
  • Handle customer escalations and facilitate patches or fixes for data-platform issues
  • Investigate issues in and maintain data models for analytics and reporting
  • Monitor and maintain data infrastructure for availability, correctness, and performance
  • Perform regular checks on data pipelines and ML models
  • Collaborate quarterly with customers to ensure requirements continue to be met
  • Scope and plan implementation of customer changes and requirements
  • Maintain automated data pipelines for data ingestion, ETL, and storage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud providers
  • Strong experience in Python with demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines and automating data workflows
  • Proficiency in SQL, particularly BigQuery SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong expertise in Python, particularly libraries and tools commonly used in data engineering, such as Pandas, NumPy, and Apache Airflow
  • Experience with data pipelines, ELT/ETL processes, and data wrangling
  • Dashboard analytics experience with PowerBI, Looker [Studio], or Tableau
  • Previous client-facing experience and ability to communicate and translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Collaborative, proactive, logical, methodical, and attentive to detail
  • Willingness to mentor and coordinate more junior team members
  • A can-do attitude and team-player approach
  • Excellent English, written and verbal
