About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support programs before and within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
- Ensure products comply with enterprise and program requirements
- Manage documents, parts, assemblies, and change processes such as Engineering Review Boards (ERB)
- Manage change-process documentation
- Assign and monitor document numbers
- Review documents for compliance and completeness
- Interface with design engineers, program management, and systems engineering
- Facilitate production of artifacts defining complex space systems from initial creation through formal changes and final production documentation
- Manage a catalogue of artifacts
- Perform tasks under supervision while applying configuration management, document control, and version control practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- Typically entry-level, 0–2 years of experience
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with configuration management concepts, document control, and version control practices
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Understanding of basic engineering and technical terminology
- Ability to perform tasks under supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
