Snowplow

Platform Engineer

• Lead the expansion of Snowplow's Firn data and AI platform
• Design and own the GTM intelligence engine that determines who to engage, how to engage them, and learns from outcomes
• Bring existing GTM services onto Firn's unified platform foundation
• Build agents and tools on the factory framework with review steps and evaluations
• Own and evolve the MCP gateway, LLM gateway, tracing, factory framework, and ledger
• Establish production-grade version control, CI, alerting, recovery, cost visibility, documentation, and handover
• Move operational rules into versioned platform code and expose tools as platform-driven endpoints
• Implement learning loops that record platform actions and outcomes
• Own evaluation and tracing infrastructure for embedded and forward-deployed engineers
• Set the Applied AI team's engineering bar and own the platform roadmap
• Work with data engineers and internal customers across Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Partnerships
• Report to the Senior Director of Applied AI and retain ownership of GTM services after handover

Principal AI Platform Engineer – Applied AI

AI Engineer

• Own production GTM workflows including the outbound orchestrator and sequences, campaign builder, intent-signal routine, enrichment and signal pipelines, and paid-media loop
• Make workflows reliable, understand their operation and cost, and troubleshoot failures
• Implement review steps where agents check lists, confirm signal freshness and review copy before sequences are sent, with sampled human sign-off
• Instrument sends, run A/B tests, and report which messaging performs best
• Build and maintain third-party signal and first-party behavior pipelines into Snowflake
• Expose required Growth data through MCP tools in collaboration with data engineers
• Develop Claude skills, campaign tooling and onboarding sessions for Growth Associates and AEs
• Maintain contact rules, warm-inbox discipline and suppression windows for deliverability
• Apply version control, alerting, tracing, runbooks and documented handover across workflows
• Move workflows onto the Firn factory framework
• Maintain a weekly backlog with the Director of Growth, prioritize based on pipeline, and document shipped work and outcomes
• Collaborate with data engineers, the platform engineer, Growth Associates and AEs
• Report to the Senior Director of Applied AI while embedded with the Growth team

Applied AI Engineer

Artificial Intelligence

• Map business workflows by documenting inputs, steps, approvals, and quality standards
• Evaluate whether workflows should be moved onto agents, including cases where AI is unnecessary
• Design and build agentic workflows on Snowplow's shared factory framework
• Define approval gates, autonomous actions, human approvals, and audit records
• Make domain knowledge, systems of record, and quality standards explicit for agent use
• Improve prototypes for reliability, edge cases, evaluation, and adoption
• Tune outputs with domain experts and encode their judgment into checks
• Train functions to operate and evolve the workflows, then hand them off
• Coordinate post-handoff improvements with embedded and platform engineers
• Develop and document repeatable workflow transformation patterns and reference implementations

Forward Deployed Engineer, Applied AI

• Map how business workflows operate, including inputs, handoffs, approvals, and quality standards
• Assess whether workflows should be moved onto agents and present the evidence-based case
• Design and build agentic workflows on Snowplow's shared factory framework
• Define approval gates, autonomous actions, human approvals, and audit records
• Make function knowledge, systems of record, and quality standards explicit for agent use
• Improve prototypes through reliability work, edge-case handling, evaluation, and expert tuning
• Train functions to run and evolve the workflows, then hand them off for ongoing ownership
• Coordinate post-handoff improvements with embedded and platform engineers
• Document the workflow-to-handoff pattern and contribute reference implementations to the shared framework
• Embed with business functions one at a time and collaborate with function leaders, domain experts, the Senior Director of Applied AI, and engineering teams
