About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain day-to-day visibility of progress across multiple engineering development workstreams
- Track project actions, deliverables, dependencies, and schedules and drive timely closure of commitments
- Resolve routine project execution issues and maintain progress with team members and supporting functions
- Identify emerging technical, schedule, resource, or organizational issues and coordinate corrective actions
- Escalate issues requiring leadership involvement with context, impact, and potential paths forward
- Serve as a day-to-day project execution resource for engineering team members
- Facilitate communication and coordination between team members
- Support project schedules, milestone plans, action trackers, risk registers, issue and opportunity registers, and project dashboards
- Support resource planning and coordination across multiple concurrent projects
- Assist with recovery plans when project activities deviate from schedule
- Coordinate project meetings, planning sessions, and technical reviews
- Prepare agendas and supporting materials and document decisions, actions, owners, and commitments
- Support project status reports and management, customer, and technical reviews
- Communicate project status, emerging issues, and required decisions to project leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, or another related engineering or technical field
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous activities, priorities, and workstreams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of actions and follow through to completion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard engineering/project-management tools
- Must be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization
- Must provide valid proof of U.S. Person status or applicable authorization if hired
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory
- Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, R&D, or technical project environment
- Experience supporting engineering development programs involving multiple technical disciplines
- Experience developing or maintaining project schedules, action trackers, risk registers, or project dashboards
- Familiarity with engineering development, manufacturing, procurement, testing, and supplier-management processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project or equivalent project planning and scheduling tools
- Experience in aerospace, composites, advanced manufacturing, or technology development environments
