About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report directly to the VP of Compliance & Quality
- Serve as the operational backbone of the QMS initiative
- Author, update, and maintain core QMS procedures and templates, including Document & Record Control, Change Management, Internal Auditing, and CAPA
- Review and audit operational procedures drafted by functional teams
- Provide feedback to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- Plan, schedule, and execute internal audits across functional areas
- Draft objective audit reports, log nonconformities, and identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with external certification bodies and auditors
- Prepare teams for Stage 1, Stage 2, and subsequent surveillance audits
- Investigate nonconformities and conduct structured root-cause analyses such as 5 Whys
- Track corrective action items to closure and verify effectiveness
- Support quality dashboards, KPI tracking, risk registers, and Management Review materials
- Coach cross-functional teams on quality requirements, documentation standards, and audit preparedness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mandatory, recognized ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on quality experience combining internal audit execution with authoring core quality procedures and reviewing department SOPs
- Practical experience participating in or preparing an organization for external ISO 9001 certification or surveillance audits
- Fluent written and verbal English skills
- Ability to balance strict standard compliance with operational agility
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage audit schedules, track open action items, and deliver quality outputs independently under a part-time framework
