About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable for overall Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance of the Operations Package during preparation, execution and closeout phases
- Prepare and implement the Project Operations Execution Plan for tender and execution stages
- Provide direct support and assistance to the Project Manager as a key client-facing resource
- Plan, organize and execute the Operations Package within time, budget and QHSES requirements
- Manage assigned resources, risks, opportunities and changes in accordance with TechnipFMC’s Management System
- Prepare and validate Project Execution Plans for Operations Packages
- Identify and secure required assets, equipment and personnel and validate associated engineering
- Act as primary contact with TechnipFMC’s VSO department and project vessel OCMs
- Manage day-to-day VSO and non-VSO operations and onshore support
- Ensure permanent equipment is installed, tested subsea and ready for client handover
- Promote HSE and quality-focused practices within the Operations organization
- Oversee installation engineering, procurement, subcontracting, expediting, testing and logistics activities
- Ensure compliance with design and constructability reviews, HIRA and offshore readiness processes
- Identify and manage package risks and opportunities and implement mitigations
- Prepare and present SQDC reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Fulfill contractual obligations and support variation order development, management and negotiation
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, subcontractors and vendors
- Manage Operations Package documentation, including NCRs, incident reports, punch items, as-built data, mechanical completion certificates and ITPs
- Establish, motivate and mentor the Project Operations organization
- Lead and support Obeya routines at operations package, project and management levels
- Implement Lean Management principles to optimize processes, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement
- Support Operations Director/Manager with departmental objectives and initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSc/BSc in Engineering or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience from projects in Engineering, Constructions, Offshore Installation and Operations
- Extensive experience in Subsea operations and Installation engineering (minimum 5 years)
- Significant knowledge of Subsea activities including offshore installation techniques and assets
- Experience within an asset operation, service delivery environment, project execution, preferred in iEPCI type of projects
- Excellent understanding of Subsea projects, including relevant equipment, operations and services
- Ability to combine technical, commercial and risk-based decision making to solve complex problems
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Norway, without sponsorship
