Technical Program Manager

• Maintain, with the CTO, a single prioritised forward plan of internal tooling and automation
• Analyse each prioritisation decision, including the problem solved, affected stakeholders, effort versus value, dependencies, risk and AI-enabled opportunities
• Turn priorities into a sequenced program plan across the Workflow Automation and DevOps teams
• Maintain the backlog and surface new tooling, automation, control and process-change demands
• Run discovery with process-owning SMEs and document current state, pain points, target state, constraints and success measures
• Map processes and write user stories, data requirements, non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate design sessions between SMEs and engineers; prototype, mock and pressure-test options using AI
• Agree scope, plans, milestones and resourcing before each build starts
• Run agile delivery across Workflow Automation and DevOps teams under the secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC)
• Clear decisions, SME availability, dependencies and acceptance criteria before they become blockers
• Manage scope, change and dependencies across approximately five concurrent builds
• Coordinate testing, including AI-generated test cases, UAT, defect triage and closure
• Own implementation and go-live, including documentation, training, cutover, communication and assigning an owner for each delivered tool or automation
• Review completed builds against scope, delivery speed and lessons learned
• Establish proportionate program governance, stage gates, RAID logs and reporting cadence aligned to the SSDLC
• Produce regular internal program reports from live delivery data for the CTO and ELT
• Build and analyse dashboards, cycle-time and throughput metrics, trend and variance reports, adoption tracking and AI contribution measures
• Evaluate modern AI and engineering practices, trial tooling and incorporate effective methods
• Mentor a Graduate Project Manager on planning, AI-assisted working methods and stakeholder management
