Key responsibilities & impact

Own a capability within the shared payments platform, such as orchestration, risk and fraud, or multi-provider support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven track record of delivering highly available, distributed systems and high-throughput services on cloud-native platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of significant work, from design through rollout and production validation
Ability to make architectural trade-offs, including API design and data-store selection
Proficiency in a modern backend stack such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, Ruby or C++
Keen to learn C# and .NET; existing experience is a bonus
Hands-on production coding and technical deep dives
Judicious use of AI tools
Commitment to mentoring peers, sharing technical knowledge, code reviews, pairing and documentation
Role based in Vancouver, Canada
