Address the gap with real experience.
Guided Tailoring starts with the job's important gaps. If you have relevant experience, add a skill or use it in a bullet or summary. Choose the role or project it belongs to, then write or dictate your example and review the AI-refined wording before saving.
Let AI assemble the first draft.
Add optional instructions, then choose Create Resume. Scoutfield selects a relevant summary, skills, projects, and experience bullets from your saved record using your Resume Editor variant as the blueprint. You do not have to select every bullet before the draft is built.
Put the strongest example first.
Review the completed resume, change the selected content, edit the wording, or drag a bullet higher in the list. Keep the emphasis right for this job while the rest of your experience remains in your library. You review before applying.

Review important gaps. Add or update truthful experience where you have it, then save the evidence you approve.
Add any extra instructions and choose Create Resume. AI selects relevant material from your Experience Library.
Review the draft. Change selections, edit text, or reorder bullets before continuing with the application.
FAQ
Questions about AI resume tailoring
How does Guided Tailoring work now?
Start from a job and choose AI Apply, then Guided Tailoring. Review the important gaps and add or update real evidence where it is missing. Add optional instructions and choose Create Resume. Scoutfield selects relevant content for the draft, which you can then review and edit before applying.
What if I do not have experience for an important gap?
You can continue without addressing it. Scoutfield asks you to confirm when important gaps remain. A gap means the requirement is not supported by your saved evidence, not that you should invent a qualification. Add only skills and examples you can truthfully support.
Do I have to choose every bullet before AI creates the resume?
No. After the gap review, Scoutfield selects the summary, skills, projects, and experience bullets for the draft from your saved record. Once the resume is built, you can change those selections and edit the content.
Can I move a bullet or change the AI's selections?
Yes. Open a section in the resume preview to review its selected content. You can choose different saved material, edit the wording, and drag experience or project bullets into a different order. Reordering a bullet changes its position in this resume, not the underlying experience in your library.
What gets saved to my Experience Library?
Experience you approve and save while tailoring, such as a new accomplishment for a past role or project, remains available for future relevant applications. The library can hold more than one resume shows. Material not selected for a particular draft stays saved; a generated resume does not replace your full career record.
Will my tailored resume keep its layout?
Your Resume Editor variant provides the blueprint: sections, included jobs and projects, order, bullet counts, template, typography, and spacing. Scoutfield selects content for that structure. Use Resume Creator to adjust the saved design, and review the generated resume before applying.
When should I use Tailored Auto instead?
Use Guided Tailoring when you want to address missing evidence or add context before the draft is built. Tailored Auto prepares the application package with fewer steps when your saved experience already covers the role. It draws from the same library and resume blueprint. You still review the result; neither mode should turn an unsupported requirement into a claim.
Does creating a resume submit my application?
No. Create Resume prepares a draft. You can review the resume, prepare a cover letter and application answers where needed, and continue with the application. Preparing documents is separate from submitting them to an employer.
How much does AI resume tailoring cost?
Guided Tailoring and Tailored Auto are included in Scoutfield Complete for $10/month, alongside AI job matching, cover letters, application answers, supported autofill, and tracking. The job board is free when you sign up.
