Experience Library

Experience Library

Keep the experience one resume cannot hold. Save new accomplishments as you apply, and give Scoutfield more relevant material for the next opportunity.

The job board is free with signup. Guided Tailoring and Tailored Auto are included in Scoutfield Complete for $10/month.

Billed at $9.99/month.

One role can hold years of accomplishments. Keep them together under the company and role where they happened, alongside your summaries, skills, and projects. Each tailored resume uses a relevant selection, not your entire library.

Keep more than fits on the page.

Save accomplishments under the right company and role, maintain project experience, and keep useful summaries and skills. You do not have to squeeze everything onto one resume or discard an example just because this job does not need it.

Add real evidence while you tailor.

Guided Tailoring surfaces important gaps. When you have relevant experience, add a skill or use that experience in a bullet or summary. Review and save what you approve. If you do not have the experience, you can continue without inventing a claim.

Let AI choose. Keep the final say.

Scoutfield selects relevant material from your saved experience to build the draft. Review the resume, change selections, and put your strongest bullet first. When your library already covers a role, Tailored Auto can prepare the application with fewer steps. Unused experience stays saved.

From saved experience to the next application

Your library grows. Each resume stays focused.

The layout is your template. The library holds your experience. A tailored resume brings the right parts together for one job.

  1. Start with your resume and work history. Keep accomplishments with the role or project they belong to.
  2. Bring missing experience forward in Guided Tailoring. Review, approve, and save the new material.
  3. Let AI select relevant experience for the next application, then review and adjust the resulting resume.
  4. Keep the rest of your experience in the library, ready for a different role. Selecting four bullets does not delete the others.
FAQ

Questions about your Experience Library

What is saved in my Experience Library?

Your saved professional summaries, skills, work experience, role-specific accomplishments, and projects form the record Scoutfield can draw from. It can hold more material than you include in any one resume. It grows from experience you provide and approve, not invented claims.

How is the library different from my resume template?

Your Resume Editor variant provides the layout, sections, and formatting used for tailoring. Your Experience Library holds the larger record of content. A tailored resume combines that layout with a relevant selection of your experience for a particular job.

Where does a new bullet go when I save it while tailoring?

Choose the work role or project where the experience happened, then review and save the bullet. It joins the saved experience for that entry and remains available for future relevant resumes. Draft wording you have not saved is not automatically part of your library.

Do unused bullets disappear when AI tailors my resume?

No. Selecting four accomplishments from a role with eight saved bullets only changes what appears in that resume. The other four remain in your library for opportunities where they are relevant.

Can I edit my saved experience and change the AI's selections?

Yes. You can maintain the experience you have saved. After AI creates a tailored draft, you can review the content, change selections, edit the wording, and reorder bullets. Reordering bullets in one resume does not reorder or delete the underlying library.

Do I need to finish my entire library before applying?

No. Start with the experience you already have. Guided Tailoring can help you capture relevant examples as you apply. You can continue past an important gap you cannot support; Scoutfield should not fill it with experience you do not have.

When should I use Guided Tailoring or Tailored Auto?

Use Guided Tailoring when you want to address important gaps or add context before the draft is built. Use Tailored Auto when your saved experience already covers the role and you want fewer preparation steps. Both use your existing experience, and you review the application before submitting.

Are my saved application answers reused for every job?

No. Saved application answers have their own reuse rules. Eligible general answers can be reused for matching questions on supported forms. Answers specific to an employer or role stay with that job, and sensitive answers may require explicit approval. Saving an answer does not turn it into a resume bullet.

How much does AI tailoring from my library cost?

Guided Tailoring and Tailored Auto are included in Scoutfield Complete for $10/month. The job board is free with signup. Creating a draft does not submit an application; you review and submit it yourself.
