Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited technical college or university in Electrical or Computer Engineering
10+ years of work experience in electronic product design
Extensive experience with embedded system design, including digital, analog, and mixed-signal design
Experience with board-level communication interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and CAN
Experience with controlled impedance for high-speed channel design, including SpaceWire, 10GbE, and SerDes
Experience with linear and switch-mode DC/DC power conversion
Experience preparing test procedures and reports, interface control documents, and ECOs
Familiarity with design analysis and simulation, including WCA/WCCA, reliability, radiation, and SPICE
Experience with cable and wire harness design
Experience with signal and power integrity (SI/PI)
Experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Extensive experience in prototype development, debugging, and laboratory testing
Proven experience crafting and launching products in regulated environments
Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and vision
U.S. citizenship or nationality, U.S. permanent residency, or lawful admission to the U.S. as a refugee or asylee
Ability to complete the required background check
Preferred: experience with motion control and electromechanical systems for space environments
Preferred: history of leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers
