Key responsibilities & impact- Define, communicate, and implement security architecture to support mission-critical operations for Sit(x), a Booz Allen product
- Recommend tools and capabilities based on research of the current environment and knowledge of on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to address the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Work with developers to ensure standards are met with information assurance and security requirements
- Use the latest cloud technologies to secure the customer’s environment
- Strengthen cloud-based security skills in AWS
- Mentor tomorrow’s cloud security experts
- Transform and secure tactical communications networks with cloud technology
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience building and administering cloud environments and utilizing cloud-native functionality, COTs, GOTs, and open-source tools to meet objectives
- Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, IAM, VPC networking, security controls, and troubleshooting
- Experience implementing STIGs, Linux security hardening, and building and maintaining custom STIG-hardened AMIs
- Experience with Splunk or AWS-native OpenSearch-based security analytics, centralized logging, threat detection, and integration with AWS security services such as Security Hub, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail
- Experience with POA&Ms, vulnerability management and remediation, security documentation, continuous monitoring, and improving overall security posture
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science
- Nice to have: Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Nice to have: Experience with cloud technologies
- Nice to have: Knowledge of multicloud governance and automation in Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Product, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, or other cloud providers
- Nice to have: Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- Nice to have: Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Nice to have: DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification such as SecurityX, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP Certification
- Nice to have: DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider-Infrastructure Support Certification (CSSP-IS), including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification
- Full-time employees and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs
- Identity verification process leveraging advanced biometrics and artificial intelligence is required as part of hiring
- Candidates are expected to be on camera during interviews and assessments
