About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build prototypes demonstrating what fast inference makes possible
- Optimize model harnesses, prompts, tool use, context management, orchestration, and evaluation workflows
- Experiment with new models and investigate capabilities, limitations, and suitability for different tasks
- Compare model behavior on realistic workloads
- Write blogs, tutorials, walkthroughs, practical guides, and technical explanations based on experiments
- Design practical tests, measure results, validate technical claims, and document assumptions, tradeoffs, and limitations
- Create technically accurate launch examples, workshops, and stories with Product, Engineering, and New Media
- Present work and educate developers on applying Cerebras technology
- Engage with developers and troubleshoot integrations
- Convert recurring developer questions and friction into improvements to examples, documentation, and product experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong portfolio of AI applications, prototypes, technical writing, tutorials, or other substantive developer-facing work
- Hands-on experience building with model APIs and debugging AI application workflows
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Experience with agent harnesses or related workflows involving prompting, tool calling, context management, and evaluation
- Informed view of the AI developer ecosystem and curiosity about new models, frameworks, and emerging application patterns
- Strong technical judgment, including designing fair comparisons and verifying results
- Original ideas for demos and developer experiences
- Ability to scope projects, ship independently, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with technical and creative partners
- Portfolio links to code, prototypes, and technical writing, identifying personal contributions, explored problems, results, or lessons learned
- U.S. export-compliance citizenship/permanent-residency confirmation may be required
