Key responsibilities & impact- Actively adjust Commercial & Personal Lines Property claims
- Maximize business development opportunities through timely marketing and follow-up
- Manage a dynamic claims portfolio and complete day-to-day activities efficiently

Requirements
What you’ll need- Commercial & Personal Lines Property claims background/experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive)
- Previous adjusting experience preferred
- Advanced written and oral communication skills, including grammar, technical writing, listening, interviewing, and negotiating
- Ability to adapt communication style to the audience
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize conflicting priorities
- Relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Sense of urgency and responsiveness
- Proactive and positive customer service approach
- Strong interpersonal skills for handling conflict and difficult situations
- Commitment to ongoing education and learning
- University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance is nice to have
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- CIP designation or working towards designation
- Adjuster’s license or completion of C11, C12, C13, and C14 CIP courses
- Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered
- Effective analytical skills, including cause-and-effect identification
- Good investigative manner
- Ability to draw valid conclusions and communicate them effectively
- Ability to interpret complex legal documents
- Ability to perform and understand advanced numerical calculations and comparative-information analysis
- Auto or Liability claims experience is an asset
