Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale, production-grade AI systems and platforms
- Architect and deliver scalable, resilient AI solutions using agentic systems, LLMs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures
- Define enterprise-wide technical direction, architecture patterns, integration standards, and reusable platform capabilities

- Design and implement AI-enabled software development lifecycle practices

- Personally drive complex technology initiatives from business problem definition and architecture through development, implementation, deployment, and measurable outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering
- Experience leading, designing, implementing, and operating distributed systems and large-scale architectures
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions using Python, Java, or comparable object-oriented programming languages
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Experience applying cloud, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Deep understanding of AI, generative AI, agentic systems, LLMs, intelligent automation, and modern data architectures
- Experience building production-grade solutions and influencing enterprise technology strategy
- Experience across healthcare payer and provider ecosystems is preferred
- Ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to senior executives
- Experience building partnerships across business, product, engineering, architecture, data, operations, and security functions
- Position is not eligible for current or future visa sponsorship
- Ability to work within a reasonable commuting distance of a posting location
