About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Underwrite Property risks, specifically within the Power and Concessions lines
- Follow up on and control bound policies and the issuance process
- Monitor negotiations on quotes submitted to brokers through the conclusion of the process
- Provide technical support to the Commercial team, brokers, and clients, serving as an intermediary between company departments
- Interpret claims histories
- Place facultative risks
- Analyze portfolio performance
- Monitor premium issuance and collection
- Apply knowledge of insurance products and policy wordings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Academic background: Engineering degree
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk underwriting
- Technical knowledge of Property products
- Experience placing facultative risks
- Experience with Energy and Concessions risks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- English proficiency
- Willingness to travel
- Established relationships with major brokers and specialist brokers
- Established relationships with reinsurers and reinsurance brokers
